At least five Palestinians were martyred and others wounded on Monday in Israeli shelling of the central and southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources at Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat, central Gaza, reported that they received two martyrs and 35 wounded as a result of Israeli forces targeting gatherings of citizens waiting for aid on Salah Al-Din Street, south of Wadi Gaza.
They added that 16 seriously wounded people were shot and transferred to hospitals in the central Gaza Strip.
A Palestinian was martyred when an Israeli helicopter bombed a house in Deir Al-Balah refugee camp.
Two siblings and a child were also martyred as a result of the Israeli bombing of Gaza City.
Local sources reported that Israeli drones targeted tents for displaced people in Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding a number of citizens.
Citizens were also killed and wounded when Israeli forces opened fire on people waiting for aid near the distribution center in Al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah. (
