A number of Palestinians were martyred and wounded Sunday morning by Israeli shelling in the central and southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that an Israeli drone targeted an apartment in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, killing a man and his wife.
An Israeli aircraft also targeted a tent for displaced people in Al-Hasayna area, west of the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing and wounding a number of Palestinians, WAFA reported.
In Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli forces shelled a tent housing displaced people in Al-Rayyan refugee camp, killing two citizens and wounding others.
Meanwhile, a number of Palestinians were wounded by Israeli fire in the Asdaa area, north of Khan Yunis.
Since Oct. 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched a comprehensive aggression on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 52,400 Palestinians, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 118,014 others. This toll is incomplete due to the difficulty of reaching victims trapped under the rubble and in the streets.
