The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC), represented by the Wildlife Protection Department, in co-operation with the Environmental Security Group of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), has initiated legal action against several violations related to the grazing ban.
According to a statement from MoECC, the violations were detected during a comprehensive inspection campaign covering various southern regions.
The statement said the violators will be referred to the competent authorities to complete the prescribed legal procedures.
