The Police Academy, represented by the Centre for Security Research and Studies, in co-operation with the Juvenile Police Department, organised an academic seminar on The Misuse of Social Media and Its Impact on Children, with the participation of several specialists and experts.
The seminar highlighted the psychological, social, and behavioural effects of misuse, as well as the role of security and legislative bodies in addressing cybercrimes.
It emphasised the importance of strengthening co-operation among relevant institutions and supporting academic research to protect the younger generation, an X post from the Ministry of Interior added.
