The session was attended by Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Security Policy in Finland Outi Holopainen. In his remarks during the session, HE Dr al-Khulaifi emphasised Qatar’s commitment to supporting international efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability, and to expanding avenues of co-operation with friendly countries in the areas of conflict resolution, dialogue, and strategic partnerships. The session addressed several topics of mutual interest, particularly in the fields of mediation and preventive diplomacy, in addition to the latest developments in regional and international affairs.
