Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Friday described Israel's attacks on Iran as a clear provocation and a blatant disregard for international law.
In a press statement, Erdogan pointed out that the Israeli strikes come at a time when negotiations over Iran's nuclear program are intensifying and global pressure is mounting against Israel's actions in Gaza.
He called on the international community to put an end to Israeli provocations that threaten both regional and global stability.
Erdogan also criticized the Israeli occupation for escalating its destabilizing strategy in Gaza and now extending it to the wider region, specifically by targeting Iran. He warned that Israel had taken this strategy to a dangerous level.
