Department of Wildlife Protection at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has carried out an extensive cleanup campaign in the northern part (Al-Ghariyah and Fuwairit).
This initiative is part of the broader cleanup efforts organised by the ministry during the Eid al-Adha holidays to clean up meadows and wild areas.
The campaign aims to raise awareness among visitors of beaches and wilderness areas on the importance of maintaining cleanliness. Besides, special waste collection bags were distributed to encourage visitors to adopt responsible practices that contribute to environmental protection.
