Birla Public School (BPS) held its Primary School investiture ceremony celebrating the formal induction of the newly-elected student council for academic year 2025–26.
The programme commenced with the school prayer, and a welcome song by the Primary 1 choir. Vice-principal Edna Fernandez welcomed director Gope Shahani, management representative Chindhu Antony, principal Dr Anand R Nair, vice-principal Radhika Rele, headmistresses, heads of departments, parents, teachers, and students.
The inductees comprised school captains Mohith Muthu and Sneha Narangoli, vice-captains, sports captains, sports vice-captains, house captains and house vice-captains of various houses prefects for Qatar national identity, discipline and cultural activities along with student council members from Classes I-V.
Following the oath-taking, the badges and sashes were ceremoniously conferred upon the new office bearers. The Primary 2 choir performed. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the school vice-captains.
