The Doha-based Arab Educational Training Center for the Gulf States has obtained the European Quality Award (EQA) accreditation from EMCC Global and has officially joined the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).

In a statement Sunday, the centre stated it is currently the only training body in Qatar to have obtained this accreditation and the third organisation in the country to officially join the EMCC, which has more than 10,000 accredited members in 26 affiliated countries/regions and 85 countries.

Director of the Arab Educational Training Center for Gulf States Dr Fatima al-Maadheed said that this achievement reflects the centre's commitment to excellence and the application of the highest international quality standards in the field of training.

It will contribute to enhancing the academic and professional value of the certificates the centre awards to trainees, and will support the development of educational competencies in the Gulf countries that are members of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States.
