Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced its collaboration with several Haj and Umrah agencies in Qatar to distribute copies of a Haj guidelines book to pilgrims during this year's Haj season.
The bank has also offered copies of this book to its employees preparing for the Haj.
The Haj book, reviewed by the committee for the censorship of religious books at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, presents in a useful and accessible manner everything those wishing to perform the Haj rituals need.
It includes explanations and illustrative images to familiarise the Haj pilgrims with the rituals before they embark on their journey.
Mashaal Abdulaziz al-Derham, the assistant QIB general manager and head of Corporate Communications & Quality Assurance, said: “We are pleased to contribute to supporting pilgrims traveling from Qatar to perform the Haj, one of the most important rituals in a Muslim’s life, by providing them with practical tools that help them prepare optimally.”
“This initiative represents our real commitment to active community engagement and reinforces our values of supporting pilgrims and enabling them to perform the rituals with ease and peace of mind,” he said. “We wish everyone an accepted Haj and forgiven sins.”
QIB continues to support programmes that contribute to adding value to the community, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, with a focus on initiatives that promote inclusion, awareness, and social well-being.
