As part of QC’s 'Greatest Days' Dhul-Hijjah campaign, these initiatives empower benefactors to amplify their rewards by uplifting those in need across the globe, a statement said yesterday.
The '10 Days of Dhul-Hijjah' initiative inspires donors to share joy during the sacred first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah with daily donations from QR50 to 500 via QC’s website qch.qa/10ni or app qch.qa/appen.
The '10×10' initiative supports ten charitable projects, one for each of Dhul-Hijjah’s first ten days, assisting those in need. QC showcases these projects on its website and app, empowering donors to contribute daily based on their means.
This initiative aims to create a broad developmental and humanitarian impact across vital sectors, including health, social welfare, shelter, and water, sanitation, and hygiene. The initiative’s diverse projects include a mosque in Nigeria, a multi-service orphan centre in Ghana, cancer treatment for patients in Qatar and children in Lebanon, dialysis center rehabilitation in Somalia, a comprehensive water station in Tanzania, a water purification plant in Somalia, and residential apartments in Uganda.
