With a fresh look, modern technology and a more powerful engine, the new Mitsubishi ASX has been launched at Qatar Automobiles Company showroom at Salwa Road in Doha, and in Al Khor.

The new ASX adopts Mitsubishi's latest Dynamic Shield front design language with LED headlights and taillights. The fresh rear skid plate finished in silver, revamped front bumper, LED taillights working with conventional turn indicators, and a new rear fascia and bumper design are among the visual changes.

The 2.0-litre Mivec engine combines maximum power output, fuel efficiency, and environmental performance. The maximum torque of the engine is 197Nm / 4,200rpm generating a maximum output of 110kW.

The MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspensions make driving on rough roads smooth and comfortable, while the shock absorbers and stabilisers are precision-tuned for responsive handling and sporty, comfortable performance.

There are three driving modes for fuel-efficiency and outstanding 4WD performance. The engine is teamed with the Invecs-III (Intelligent & Innovative Vehicle Electronic Control System) CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), ideally tuned to deliver effortless acceleration from any speed.

The Active Stability Control system uses onboard sensors to analyse the vehicle’s motion and identify lateral wheel slippage. In addition, a gear shift indicator in the multi-information display recommends the best shift timing for current driving conditions.

The safety features include Blind Spot Warning/Lane Change Assist, 7-airbag system, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Hill Start Assist, and Emergency Stop Signal System. Up to 358 litres of cargo space is available.

Panoramic glass roof, sporty roof rails, 8-Inch display monitor that makes navigation and rear-view camera easier to use, Smartphone-Link Display Audio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems, nine-speaker DTS Neural Surround audio system jointly developed with the Rockford Corporation, Bluetooth, Hands-Free Kit, Link System and the voice-activated dialler are among the other salient features of the new ASX.
