Birla Public School (BPS), has emerged as the overall runner-up in the CBSE Cluster Athletic Meet 2025, held at MES Indian School. BPS secured the under-14 boys category championship title and finished as runners-up in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories for both boys and girls.
The three-day event brought together top athletic talent from CBSE-affiliated schools across Qatar. BPS’ Zoya and Dwijaraj Thaippurayil Arunkumar were adjudged as the Individual champions in under-14 girls’ and boys’ categories, respectively; Aksa Binesh and Riya Kurian were adjudged as the individual champions in under-17 and under-19 girls’ categories. Abdullah Waheedy and Shriyansh Ranjan Pattanayak emerged as the individual champions in the under-17 category.
The BPS athletes were trained by the Physical Education Department, headed by Albert Anthony. The school management and the senior leadership team lauded the athletes and athletics coach Noby.
