The students of Class 2 B and D at Birla Public School (BPS) observed Mother’s Day and Nurses Day. The Mother’s Day assembly recognised the profound impact, unwavering love and dedication of mothers. The theme was based on the quote “God couldn’t be everywhere, that’s why He created Mothers”. The soulful song performed by the students focused on the above message. This was followed by a dance celebrating the unique and powerful connection between a mother and her children.

Parents Dr Manisha Tandle and Sarah Vargheese addressed the gathering. The mothers who are nurses took sessions on first aid and safety in the classrooms to mark Nurses Day. Headmistress Josephine Fernandes urged the students to reflect on the sacrifices mothers make and to show their gratitude in meaningful ways. The students who excelled in academics in the academic year 2024-25 were awarded A1 certificates.
