The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) announced the launch of two AI-powered virtual assistants as part of its ongoing efforts to promote digital transformation and improve the quality of government services provided to the public.
The launch of the two services — Smart Assistant and Saif — was made during a press conference organised by the Ministry in co-operation with Microsoft.
The Smart Assistant is available through the Single Window platform, while Saif was launched as a virtual assistant on the Ministry’s official website, contributing to a seamless and integrated user experience for various categories of beneficiaries.
Director of MoCI’s Single Window Department Mubarak al-Khulaifi said the Smart Assistant service aims to facilitate procedures and expedite the completion of transactions by providing immediate responses to user inquiries and guiding them through every step of their transactions through the Single Window platform.
