The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) participated in the Global Conference on Cyber Capacity Building (GC3B) in Geneva, Switzerland.

HE President of NSCA Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ali al-Farahid al-Malki headed the agency's delegation participating in the conference.

He took part in a high-level closed ministerial session on cyber security capacity building in Africa and the global south hosted by the World Economic Forum (WEF).

NCSA also partook in a panel discussion on managing technology options for cyber incident response, organized by Lithuanian NRD Cyber Security and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

The session highlighted disparities in the capabilities of cyber incident response teams, identifying three key factors contributing to these differences: resources, skills and talents.

The GC3B serves as a platform for strengthening international collaboration in the field of cyber capacity development.

Participants from across sectors come together to coordinate strategies and share best practices and resources to support countries in strengthening their digital resilience. (QNA)
