QInvest, Qatar's leading investment group and one of the world’s most prominent Islamic financial institutions, hosted a blood donation drive at its headquarters in Doha in collaboration with Qatar National Blood Donation Center.
The initiative, part of QInvest’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, saw active engagement from employees and members of the public, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to community health and national social development goals, a statement said.
Hussein Fakhreddine, acting CEO of QInvest, said: “Ensuring the availability of safe and sufficient blood supply is a national priority, and we are proud that our employees contributed to this important cause.”
Dr Saloua Mohammed M Hmissi, associate consultant and head of Qatar National Blood Donation Center of HMC, said: “We thank QInvest for their strong support of our national blood donation programme. Corporate partnerships such as this play a vital role in maintaining a consistent and safe blood supply across Qatar.”
