Thirty-two Palestinians, most of them children and women, were martyred and dozens injured in Israeli airstrikes on several areas in the Gaza Strip overnight and Thursday morning.

The Palestinian news agency (WAFA) quoted local sources as saying that 27 of them were martyred in a large number of raids targeting several homes in Khan Yunis. Dozens of dead and wounded, most of them children, arrived at Nasser Medical Complex.

The sources told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces bombed numerous Palestinian homes in the northern and eastern parts of Khan Yunis.

The sources also confirmed that five Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured as a result of the occupation forces' bombing of a home belonging to a family in the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.

The toll from the genocide and aggression carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip has risen to 52,928 martyrs and 119,846 injured since Oct. 7, 2023.
