Rajagiri Public School organised the investiture ceremony for academic year 2025-2026, officially inducting the newly appointed student leaders.
Juvenile Police Department's awareness officer First Lt Mohammad Abdulla al-Naama was the chief guest while Faisal al-Hudawi from the Ministry of Interior's Public Relations Department was the guest of honour.
The event celebrated the appointment of student leaders across various levels, beginning with the class prefects from Grades 1-12.
Leadership roles were formally conferred upon the captains and vice-captains of the school’s four houses – Apollo, Atlas, Hercules, and Pegasus – along with the newly appointed junior captains from each house.
The key leadership positions for the academic year were announced, with Aadil Ali Shaikh appointed head boy, Michelle Donald Vattakuzhi as head girl, Shreya Sara Aju as cultural secretary, and Junaid Jaseer as sports captain.
Dakshin Dilu and Yara Hamdi were selected as junior head boy and head girl, respectively.
The board of directors were present. In his address, Dr Aju Abraham urged the newly appointed leaders to embrace their roles as role models and lead with both passion and purpose. Following this, the principal administered the oath of office, formally entrusting the responsibilities to the student leaders.
In his presidential address, First Lt al-Naama, emphasised the importance of diligently fulfilling their leadership duties. He encouraged the young leaders to inspire their peers to step forward and embrace leadership opportunities in the future.
