Jamavar Doha, the Michelin-starred jewel of Indian fine dining in Qatar, invites guests to embark on a culinary journey across India with its limited-time Alphonso Mango Feasting Menu during May.

Created as an ode to the beloved king of fruits, this seasonal feast at Jamavar Doha in Sheraton Grand Doha, brings together the bold flavours, heritage, and artistry of regional Indian cuisines, a statement said. Curated by culinary director Chef Surender Mohan, renowned for his refined interpretation of regional Indian cuisine, this menu celebrates the Alphonso Mango’s deep cultural significance in the subcontinent and its remarkable culinary versatility. Each dish draws inspiration from the regional flavours of India, unified by the golden hue and aromatic sweetness of the mango. The menu offers a flavourful journey across the country, from the foothills of the north to the spice-laden shores of the south.

Start with a reimagined street-style classic — Chandni Chowk Ki Aloo Tikki, a crisp potato patty layered with flavours and a seasonal mango twist, a nostalgic nod to Delhi’s Street fare. Travel south with a seafood special - the Meen Manga Curry, where tender sea bass is gently simmered in a spiced coconut broth, enriched with the tang of raw mango—a soulful tribute to Kerala’s coastal kitchens.

Next, dive into the heat and vibrancy of Ajwaini Kairee Jheenga, where succulent prawns are elevated with bold southern spices and a tangy mango chutney. This is followed by Scallop Mangai, a seared scallops paired with a mango-infused sauce, blending tang, spice, and subtle sweetness in a modern, soulful dish.

To complete the journey, the menu culminates in Mango Delice—a refined dessert featuring an Alphonso tart, complemented by tangy mango salsa and refreshing sorbet. A curated enhanced beverage pairing is available to complement the menu’s rich flavors and aromas.

The Alphonso Mango Feasting Menu will be available until May 31, served for lunch from 12:30pm to 3pm and dinner from 6pm to 10pm. The menu is priced at QR350 per person for the non-vegetarian option, QR295 for the vegetarian option, and QR250 for the optional beverage pairing.
