The Gulf Heart Association (GHA) has announced its 17th Conference in Doha from November 20 to 22 in association with Hamad Medical Corp (HMC).

This premier event aims to bring together leading cardiologists, healthcare professionals, and researchers from across the region and around the globe, providing a platform to explore the latest advancements in cardiology and cardiac care, a GHA statement said.

The conference will begin on November 20 at the Itqan – Clinical Simulation and Innovation Center of HMC and continue over the next two days at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel.

The 17th GHA Conference is set to kick off with a series of specialised workshops on the first day, offering hands-on experience and training for healthcare professionals across various disciplines.

The sessions on POCUS/ECHO, ECMO Cannulation and Care, and Haemodynamic are designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of participants.

On the second and third day of the event, the 17th GHA Conference will continue with a series of expert-led sessions where local and international cardiology professionals will present on a wide range of topics related to cardiology and cardiac care.

These sessions will discuss the latest research, innovative treatments, and best practices in heart health. Each session will conclude with a panel discussion, offering an opportunity for further insight and in-depth exploration of the topics presented.
