Safari, a leading hypermarket chain in Doha, has launched its Mango Festival across all outlets until May 11. Safari group of companies chairman Hamad Dafar al-Ahbabi and managing director Shaheen Backer inaugurated the Mango Festival with a cake cutting ceremony along with other management staff at Safari mall, Abu Hamour.
As part of the festival, Safari is offering customers over 80 varieties of mangoes imported from countries such as India, Thailand, Indonesia, Uganda, Yemen, Colombia, the Philippines, Brazil, and more.
Popular Indian varieties such as Alphonso, Malgova, Mango Tippu India, Mango Badami, Mango Moovandan, Mango Rumani, Mango Sindhooram, Neelam, and Panchavarnam, along with unique international types such as Baby Mango (Colombia), Carabao Mango (The Philippines), Indonesian mango, Mango Sudani, Tommy Mango (Uganda), Timor Mango (Yemen), and Apple Mango (Uganda), are all part of the extensive collection now available at Safari outlets.
"Safari has flown in all these mangoes directly from their respective countries, ensuring unmatched freshness and quality at competitive prices—something rarely matched by others in the retail industry," a statement said Wednesday.
Safari’s Bakery and Hot Food section is also celebrating the festival by offering a wide variety of mango-based dishes including Mango Cake, Mango Burfi, Mango Bun, Fresh Cream Mango Cake, Mango Payasam, Fresh Mango Pickle, Mango Pulissery, Mango Fish Curry, Prawn Mango Curry, Mango Fish Peera, and more.
The grocery section is stocked with mango-themed products such as Mango Biscuits, Baladna Mango Yogurt, Jackme Frozen, Igloo Rosetta Mango Tango, Khairat Mango Pulp, Kenton Mango Jelly, mango pickles, other mango-flavoured products, and dried mango fruits.
Additionally, with every purchase of QR50, customers will receive a raffle coupon for a chance to win one of 25 Toyota Raize cars through the Safari Win 25 Toyota Raize Cars Mega Promotion. The third raffle draw will be held at Safari Hypermarket in Barwa Village. Four winners will be selected in each of the first five draws, and five winners in the final draw to take home a brand-new Toyota Raize.
