The toll of victims from the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023, has climbed to 52,567 martyrs in addition to 118,610 injured.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that this toll includes 2,459 martyrs and 6,569 injured since the Israeli occupation forces resumed their offensive in the Strip on March 18, following a two-month ceasefire.

The ministry highlighted that hospitals in the Strip had received 32 martyrs during the past 24 hours, among them nine martyrs whose bodies were recovered, alongside 119 injured.

Still, there are several victims remaining underneath the bombed-out buildings and on the streets, with paramedics and civil defense rescuers unable to reach them, the ministry confirmed.

The Israeli occupation forces have resumed their aggression against the Gaza Strip since March 18, following a two-month respite under a ceasefire deal that took effect on January 19.
However, the Israeli entity breached the deal throughout the two months and proceeded to bomb various sites across the enclave, resulting in casualties.

It also rejected the implementation of the humanitarian protocol and subsequently intensified its tightened siege on the Strip, which is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
