The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC)'s Wildlife Development Department and the Environmental Awareness Section of the Public Relations and Communications Department have taken part in the interactive “Akhlaquna” (Our Morals) exhibition, accompanying the 2025 “Akhlaquna” Award organised by Qatar Foundation.

The ministry’s participation included organising an agricultural workshop and a display of the seeds and wild plants to raise awareness among students about the importance of plants and their impact on climate change.

It also aimed to promote individual responsibility in preserving wild plants through demonstrating correct and incorrect behaviours in handling them.

Students were also introduced to the names of wild plants in Qatar to familiarise them with the country’s environmental heritage.

Further, the MoECC presented a cultural competition titled “Our Morals and the Environment”, during which students were asked various environmental questions to raise their environmental awareness and encourage positive environmental behaviours.
