QNB participated in the ‘Banks and Financial Institutions Football Tournament 2025’, organised this year in co-operation with Qatar Central Bank (QCB), Aspire Zone Academy, and Qatar Football Association (QFA).
The event had the participation of some 28 teams representing several financial and banking institutions. The Aspire Academy’s stadiums successfully hosted all the games of the tournament, which continued to attract the attention of sports fans, increasing its importance in the sports events agenda in Qatar. QNB’s participation in this tournament comes within the framework of its keenness to promote sports as a means for a healthy lifestyle that enhances team spirit. It also reflects its commitment to the concept of corporate sports.
Commenting on the participation, Heba al-Tamimi, Senior Executive Vice-President, QNB Group Communications, said: “We are happy to participate in this tournament, which is witnessing great success year after year.
“Our participation in this initiative co-organised by QCB, Aspire Zone Academy, and QFA, reflects our shared commitment to the importance of integrating sports in work environment, and promoting health and fitness among employees. QNB achieved outstanding results in the tournament in an atmosphere full of excitement, enthusiasm and high sportsmanship.
