The State of Qatar participated in the seventh edition of the Export Capabilities Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Iran Expo 2025), which was inaugurated Monday by HE President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, in the presence of a number of Ministers, officials, heads of chambers of commerce, and representatives of the private sector from a number of countries around the world.

The State of Qatar was represented by HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed. After attending the opening session, His Excellency and his accompanying delegation toured some of the exhibition's participating pavilions.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, HE the Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs met separately with HE Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Atabak and Governor-general of Fars Province Hossein-Ali Amiri. The two meetings discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of commerce, investment, and industry. They also discussed topics of common interest.

Iran Expo 2025, which runs until May 2, 2025, aims to strengthen economic and trade relations with various countries, attract investments, and develop export markets. The exhibition represents an important platform for showcasing investment potential and opportunities in the economic, industrial, agricultural, tourism, and other fields.
