Friends, family and fans flocked in mourning to the home of Malian music star Amadou Bagayoko yesterday a day after he died aged 70. One half of the husband-and-wife duo Amadou & Mariam, the Grammy-nominated blind guitarist and singer died on Friday following an illness. His wife Mariam Doumbia is also blind. They had three children together. No date has yet been set for a funeral service. Fans have paid their respects to the musician in countless messages on social media.
