Manithaneya Kalachara Peravai (MKP), a Tamil community association in Qatar, organised a social harmony Iftar 2025 which was attended by about 800 people, including over 300 blue-collar workers and MKP members.
Indian embassy deputy chief of mission Sandeep Kumar was the chief guest and Qatar Ministry of Labour’s labour relations specialist Khalid Abdul Rahman Fakhroo, the special guest.
Brunitha and Huda led the event hosting, while MKP president Regina Sathik presided. Indian Community Benevolent Forum president Shanavas Bava, Indian Cultural Centre president A P Manikantan, Indian Sports Centre president E P Abdurahman, Indian Business and Professionals Council president Thaha Muhammed and other leaders from the community were present. MKP general secretary Hussain proposed a vote of thanks.
