Playing of drums and singing of traditional songs as part of the traditional activities carried out during the holy fasting month of Ramadan, at the Old Doha port area, late on Friday. During Ramadan, traditional dawn awakeners known as 'Musaharati' beat drums and chant religious songs to wake up Muslims before sunrise for the 'Suhour' meal before the day's fast begins.
