The Qatar Shooting & Archery Association will organise the 2026 ISSF World Shooting Championships and the 2025 ISSF World Cup Final, following approval by the ISSF Executive Committee. Both of these competitions will encompass rifle, pistol and shotgun events, with dates to be confirmed.
It will mark the first time Qatar has hosted the ISSF World Shooting Championships and the fourth time Qatar has hosted an ISSF World Cup leg. Doha first held the ISSF World Cup Final in shotgun as part of the 2001 season, before hosting the ISSF World Cup Final again for all three disciplines in 2023, following another shotgun leg earlier that season.
