The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Doha Chapter recently hosted a seminar titled ‘Union Budget 2025: Impact Analysis’, which was attended by Indian ambassador Vipul as chief guest.

The ambassador highlighted the strong India-Qatar bilateral relations and the significance of the Union Budget in strengthening economic ties between the two countries.

The seminar featured T N Manoharan, Padma Shri awardee and former ICAI president, and Girish Chand, senior partner at MCA Gulf, who provided in-depth insights into the key proposals of the Union Budget 2025 and their potential impact on India’s economic landscape.

The discussions also touched on tax reforms, infrastructure investments, and inclusive growth initiatives. The event also gathered around 200 ICAI members, representatives from IBPC, ICBF, ICC, and ISC, as well as community dignitaries and members of the Tamil and Telugu Sangams.

The seminar served as an excellent platform for the chartered accountant fraternity to gain comprehensive knowledge on the Union Budget's implications and engage in thought-provoking discussions.
