The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) has trained academic advisors in public and private schools on the latest developments of the scholarship program 2025-26.
A total of 130 advisors were present in the training workshop organized by the Scholarship Department. In attendance were representatives from the US Embassy and the British Council.
The workshop presented the accredited universities, available specializations, and scholarship conditions.
MOEHE Acting Assistant Undersecretary Dr. Hareb Mohammed Al Jabri stressed the importance of early and continuous communication between academic advisors, students, and parents.
He advised students to apply to more than one university to get multiple options and to obtain accurate information via the official website.
Meanwhile, Assistant Director of the Qatari Cultural Attache in the UK Ibrahim Al Fadala called on students to apply to more than one university to avoid overcrowding, noting that the goal of the scholarship is to learn about new cultures and gain diverse experiences.
He urged students to opt for modern tech specializations like cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, to ensure distinguished educational outcomes. (QNA
