The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra (QPO) is hosting its annual community concert in partnership with the Qatar Music Academy (QMA) on Wednesday, at 7pm at Katara’s Opera House.

Under the baton of QPO’s Giovanni Pasini, the event brings together the gifted soloists of QMA, the Qatar Youth Orchestra, The Masters Takht, String Orchestra, and professional musicians from the QPO.

The concert will feature the works of esteemed composers such as Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn, Camille Saint-Saëns, and others.

QPO executive director Kurt Meister said the partnership seeks to offer a significant platform for young soloists to display their talents while gaining essential exposure and experience that can greatly influence their future careers.

QMA director Zlatan Fazlić, said: "This concert is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our young musicians to perform alongside a superb professional orchestra, an experience that will undoubtedly shape their musical journey."
