The Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has concluded its inaugural International Conference on Wellbeing and Workplace Health 2025 (ICEWWH), drawing professionals from across the healthcare sector to discuss the future of workplace health and employee well-being.
More than 1,100 participants participated in the three-day conference, themed Enhancing Employee Wellbeing through Solution-Focused Approach.
The ICEWWH 2025 featured global thought leaders, industry experts and practitioners who shared insight, research findings, and actionable strategies to create healthier, more resilient workplaces.
Speakers from around the world delivered keynote addresses, participated in panel discussions and led plenary sessions, offering innovative perspectives on employee well-being.
Participants also had the opportunity to attend 12 workshops, take part in the unique interactive “Wellbeing Journey”, connect and network with global professionals, and gain firsthand knowledge of practical tools for enhancing workplace health.
A standout feature was the “Wellbeing Journey”, where participants had the opportunity to assess their physical and mental health at specialised booths that then created a customised well-being journey.
In addition, attendees engaged in physical activities, relaxation experiences and VR (virtual reality) sessions, providing a holistic approach to workplace well-being.
This conference is a testament to the HMC’s ongoing commitment, having been honoured with the Best Wellbeing Programme Award at the CIPD Middle East Awards 2024, reaffirming its position as a leader in workplace wellness.
The HMC’s employee well-being and workplace health initiatives have expanded beyond the organisation, reaching the Ministry of Public Health and the Primary Health Care Corporation.
ICEWWH chair Mona al-Homaiddi, who is also the acting chief of business services and human resources at the HMC, said: “We are proud to have provided a global platform where professionals could share knowledge and collaborate on shaping the future of workplace health.”
“The solutions and strategies shared during this event will undoubtedly inspire positive changes across workplaces worldwide,” she said.
HMC human resources executive director Husameldin Mohamed Ali Rudwan, who is also the head of the conference, said: “At the HMC, we are committed to advancing this mission, and we are excited to continue our journey of empowering individuals and organisations alike to foster healthier and more resilient workplaces.”

The conference drew professionals from across the healthcare sector to discuss the future of workplace health and employee well-being.
