The Hour and Hour programme participated in the Qatar National Sport Day (NSD) by organising the Think and Answer cultural competition and various activities, in Darb Al Saad in Lusail, in co-operation with the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC).
The competition, conducted by Abdullah Mubarak and Faisal al-Balushi, included questions and gifts for the audience, in addition to sport shows and popular games.
Following the event, HE Sheikha Asma al-Thani, the director of the International Co-operation Sector at the QOC, honoured Hour and Hour chief executive Tamani al-Yafei for her efforts and contribution to the success of the NSD activities.
"Based on our interest in sports and participation in events held in the country, we were keen to contribute to establishing the concept of sports culture for all by participating in the QNSD events,” said al-Yafei. "We seek to contribute to raising awareness of the importance of replacing an unhealthy lifestyle with a more active one, in order to maintain health and reduce health risks."
