Lusail City is hosting the Healthy Kids Village, an intiative organised by the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) in collaboration with Qatari Diar, until Sunday at Food Arena on Lusail Corniche. Designed to promote health awareness among children of all ages, the village will be open from 4pm to 10pm daily. Huda Mohsen al-Wahedi, executive director of Corporate Communications Directorate at PHCC, emphasised that this initiative provides a valuable opportunity for children and their parents to enjoy an environment that combines health and entertainment.
The village will offer children gifts, engaging recreational games, and free medical screenings, including oral and dental check-ups, as well as biometric measurements to monitor their overall health. The event will feature specialised doctors, including family physicians and psychologists, to provide consultations tailored to the target age group. This aims to enhance children’s awareness of their physical and mental well-being.
Nutritionists from PHCC, alongside dental professionals and oral health specialists, will also highlight the importance of proper nutrition through interactive activities designed to instill health concepts in a fun and educational manner.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of PHCC and Qatari Diar to promote a culture of health among future generations and encourage children to adopt a healthy lifestyle from an early age. Admission to the event is free for families.
