The Ministry of Transport (MoT) and entities of the transportation system marked the Qatar National Sport Day with a slew of sporting and recreational events for employees and their family members.

The events were organised at the Old Doha Port with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), Qatar Aeronautical Academy (QAC), Mwani Qatar, Qatar Navigation (Milaha), QTerminals, Qatar Rail, Mowasalat (Karwa), and the Hamad Port Project.

HE the Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed al-Thani said the day reflects Qatar leadership’s vision for the importance of sports for building humans and a healthy, productive society that is capable of effectively contributing to the country’s development and progress.

Mohamed Faleh al-Hajri, in charge of managing the QCAA, QAC director general HE Sheikh Jabor bin Hamad bin Mohammed al-Thani, Mwani Qatar CEO Capt. Abdulla Mohamed al-Khanji, Milaha Group CEO Fahad Saad al-Qahtani, Karwa CEO Ahmad Hassan al-Obaidly, Hamad Port Project executive director engineer Nabil Mohammed al-Khalidi, QTerminals Group CEO Neville Bissett, and Qatar Rail's chief of strategy and business development Ajlan Eid al-Enazi lauded the role of QNSD.
