Talking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Ahmed Hussein added that Ras Abrouq is an exceptional model that reflects the uniqueness of the cultural heritage and environmental diversity in Qatar as it acquires great archaeological and environmental importance due to its natural treasures, noting that visitors do not only enjoy recreational events and activities, but they also have an exceptional opportunity to learn about the natural and cultural heritage in the State of Qatar.

For his part, Ayman Al Qudwa, a tourism expert, said that Ras Abrouq represents a qualitative shift in tourism activity in the State of Qatar because it is a new destination that blends entertainment, tourism and tranquility, noting in this context the recent attention given by Qatar Tourism to new areas outside Doha to provide additional options for tourists looking for tranquility and comfort with the availability of all activities that meet their needs.

Al Qudwa added, in a statement to QNA, that Ras Abrouq has diverse terrain and offers tourists more than one option, and it also contributes to preserving the environment and biodiversity and enhancing tourism experiences outside the scope of urban concentration.

Ras Abrouq consists of a group of areas that offer families a harmonious blend of adventure and tranquility, most notably Habitas Ras Abrouq Resort, The Desert Escape, Film City, Wildlife Park, and the Glamping Zone, in addition to hosting and organizing cultural events which give families the opportunity to connect with Qatari heritage and immerse themselves in desert nature experiences.
