His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser led Qatar's residents Tuesday in marking the Qatar National Sport Day at multiple venues across the country.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani participated in National Sport Day activities Tuesday morning at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq Resort.

His Highness the Amir played padel with a number of players from the Qatari junior padel team, in addition to a number of students from Dukhan Primary School for Boys, as part of the interest in practising various types of sports and encouraging the community to adopt healthy practices. His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani stressed the importance of everyone's contribution in raising awareness of the importance of sports and its health and psychological benefits for society and future generations.

His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani attended part of the activities of the National Sport Day held at Al Shaqab Stud.

His Highness the Father Amir was accompanied by a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers.

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation (QF), attended National Sport Day 2025 activities at Qatar Foundation's Education City, where thousands of community members gathered to celebrate sports and fitness as a way of life.

This year's National Sport Day in Education City featured a series of exciting sports challenges organized by QF, bringing together participants of all ages to enjoy, connect, and foster a spirit of sportsmanship and community participation.

HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad al-Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of QF, alongside Zainab al-Eqabi, para-athlete, awarded the winning teams in the Women's and Girls' Football Initiative.

Volkswagen Middle East-sponsored activities in Education City were designed to meet the needs of all members of the community, whatever their age and physical fitness.

Meanwhile, the Education City Stadium was the setting for a range of women-only activities, including the Women's Fitness Challenge, which attracted a large number of participants in an exciting obstacle course.

At Education City's Oxygen Park, families and children participated in creative and innovative sports and recreational activities organized by QF entities and divisions, including QF's Pre-University Education, which collaborated with local sports federations to offer activities for people with disabilities, creating an inclusive sporting environment.
