Building on the tremendous success of its inaugural edition, Rawabi Management has announced the launch of Rawabi Sports League (RSL) – Season 2, a dynamic initiative designed to foster staff empowerment through the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

The event commenced at Qatar Foundation Cricket Ground, marking another milestone in Rawabi’s commitment to employee well-being and engagement, a statement said Monday.

Under the leadership of the Rawabi Sports League Team Management, comprising Muhammed Abdulla (managing director), Ajmal Abdulla (executive director), Muhamed Sadik (group director), Haris Thayyil (group director), Kannu Baker (group general manager), and Muhammed Jaseel, this season promises to elevate the league to new heights of sporting excellence.

The competition features four teams—Rawabi Sparks, Rawabi Royals, Rawabi Kings, and Rawabi Stars. Players will showcase their talent across multiple sporting disciplines, including football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, tug of war, and athletics.

Matches will be held across venues, including The Hamilton International School Doha, leading up to the grand finale on February 11, set to take place at Al Gharafa Sports Club in celebration of Qatar National Sport Day.

Rawabi Management has partnered with leading brands to support and elevate the league. Meridian Constructions Qatar is the title sponsor, while JBS and Pena Branca power the event.

Additionally, each team enjoys the backing of esteemed brands, including Pepsi, Kerala Kitchen, 5 Star, Fine, 4 Dear, 777, No.1 Malabar, Winn, Green Wealth, and Friendly Food Qatar.

The Rawabi Sports League also extends its gratitude to its media partners—Gulf Times, Rawabi Media, Inkfinity, and Dorado Advertising—whose extensive reach will bring the excitement of the league to a wider audience. Hot Chicken, Café Lovella, and Hot Tea are the official refreshment partners, the statement added.
