A total of 15 persons were killed and others were injured - some in critical condition, in a car bomb explosion on the outskirts of Manbij city in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
A car bomb exploded near a car transporting agricultural workers on a main road on the outskirts of Manbij city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, causing a horrific massacre that killed 14 women and one man and injured 15 women, some in critical condition, which raises the death toll, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.
A civil defense source told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the car was transporting female workers to a farm when the explosion occurred, which led to this large number of casualties, adding that civil defense teams rushed to provide first aid to the injured and remove the effects of the explosion.
The source explained that this explosion is the seventh of its kind in 36 days in Manbij city, which witnessed a series of repeated attacks over the past weeks, resulting in deaths and injuries.
Last Saturday, the city witnessed another car bomb explosion, which killed four civilians, including two children and one woman, and injured nine others, including four children, some of whom were gravely injured.
