The Old Doha Port has unveiled its new mission, vision and values to further position itself as the premier maritime and tourism destination in Qatar and the Middle East.

Old Doha Port’s new brand uplift pays homage to the idea of a harbour re-imagined, a statement said. This transformation underscores the essence of its history while introducing a dynamic and versatile identity that reflects its unique character.

The thoughtful evolution preserves the port’s deep-rooted connection to Qatar’s heritage while charting a bold course for the future. This strategic shift acknowledges the diverse expectations of visitors, employees, stakeholders, and communities at the local, regional, and international levels.

“Our mission is to be a harbour reimagined, where Doha’s rich past meets its future," Old Doha Port CEO Mohammed Abdullah al-Mulla said.

"We are committed to connecting the local community and international visitors to a lifestyle destination where history lives, maritime tourism thrives, and culture prospers.

“As for our vision, it is to be the Middle East’s finest maritime and tourism destination, leading landmark advances in marina experiences, symbolising Qatar’s maritime heritage, restoring the historical link between the city and the sea, and shaping the future of tourism growth in the region,” al-Mulla added.

Home to The Terminal — the official marine gateway to Qatar — Old Doha Port features two marinas with over 450 berths accommodating all types of maritime vessels, including superyachts. Since the World Cup 2022, the port has transformed into a vibrant must-visit destination. Highlights include parks, the colorful Mina District, The Terminal, the reimagined Containers Yard, and 250,000sqm of lush greenery.

To complement its transformation, Old Doha Port is also launching a new website, www.odp.qa, offering visitors an engaging and seamless way to explore the port’s offerings, stay updated on events, and plan their experience effortlessly.
