The Israeli occupation forces have continued their military assault on the city of Tulkarm and its refugee camp for the seventh consecutive day, imposing a tight siege and escalating their attacks on homes and infrastructure.
WAFA News Agency reported that Israeli forces raided homes across various neighborhoods of Tulkarm and its outskirts last night. They searched the homes, interrogated residents in the field, and checked their identities. However, no detentions were reported.
The city has also witnessed a large deployment of Israeli infantry forces and snipers stationed on the rooftops of residential and commercial buildings, which were seized and turned into military outposts, particularly in the central market and the western and eastern districts.
In Tulkarm refugee camp, Israeli forces intensified their siege, deploying heavily armed units throughout its alleys and placing snipers on high-rise buildings. They raided homes, forced residents to evacuate at gunpoint, and conducted extensive searches.
The occupation forces have so far arrested more than 30 Palestinians in Ramallah, Hebron, Tulkarm, eastern Jenin and Bethlehem. They have also tightened their military measures at most entrances and exits of the provinces in the West Bank.
