Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun and Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al Yahya discussed on Friday ways to enhance bilateral relations, prospects for cooperation and issues of common interest.
During the meeting, the Lebanese President stressed that the unity of Arab countries is the basis for facing current challenges. After the formation of the new Lebanese government, communication will be made with the GCC countries to establish new foundations for cooperation, he added.
For his part, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister said that his visit to Lebanon aimed at providing support and endorsement, expressing Kuwait's commitment to stand by Lebanon.
Al Yahya added that the visit also came to activate the joint Lebanese-Kuwaiti committees to address the issues raised.
