The Hadad Al-Tahadi Championship competitions continued Monday at the 16th edition of the Qatar International Falcons and Hunting Festival (Marmi 2025).

The competitions of the 18th group in the Haddad Al-Tahadi Championship were held yesterday, according to an official statement from Marmi.

The festival, organised by Al Gannas Qatari Society and sponsored by HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani, with support from the Social and Sports Activities Support Fund (Daam), runs until February 1.

Meanwhile, Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, general manager of Katara Cultural Village, visited the festival site in Sabkhat Sealine yesterday. He expressed his great admiration for the organisation of the festival.

“Marmi is one of the most prominent heritage events in Qatar and the region. The festival achieves successes year after year, which reflects the interest of the Qatari and Gulf society in the hobby of falconry and the sport of falconry,” he said, adding that the festival has become internationally renowned. “Qatar has become a regional centre for falconry through festivals and championships that enhance this heritage,” he added.
