Demand for items used to celebrate Qatar National Day (QND) has been steadily increasing over the past few days.
Clothes and gift shops in Souq Waqif offer a wide variety of clothing for boys and girls, accessories, swords, and other supplies.
A number of salesmen told local Arabic daily Arrayah that all modern items, accessories, and clothing for the QND are available at competitive prices.
Salesman Ali Mohamed said that shops at Souq Waqif offer flags in various sizes for prices ranging from QR3-QR35, maroon-coloured youth caps for QR15, women's velvet caps in maroon and white for QR20, and scarves for QR10 and QR20.
Girls' dresses for the QND are priced between QR35 and QR50, while boys' t-shirts are available for QR25, adult t-shirts QR30, and maroon-coloured children's sets range from QR20-QR25.
Brooches are priced at QR8, and QND-themed keychains are available for QR10.
Another salesman, Basir Abdullah, said that all related items are available at prices suitable for all budgets.
