Youssef Abdulrahman al-Muftah won the Amateur class during the seventh round of the Longines Hathab – Qatar Equestrian Tour at Al Shaqab on Friday. Al-Muftah claimed victory in a time of 15.87 seconds on Croat. Second place went to Mohammed Faisal al-Marri, who clocked 16.43 seconds on Dusty, while Alqaqaa bin Tamim al-Thani secured third place in 16.91 seconds on Bon Suela. The winners were crowned by Abdullah
al-Qashouti, Head of the Media and Live Broadcasting Committee for Hathab; and Mohammed Saleh al-Marri, Deputy Head of the Infrastructure and Logistics Services Committee. The Future Riders Level 2 was won by Khalifa bin Joaan al-Thani in a time of 58 seconds on Zion. Ali Khalid al-Obaidli was second as he clocked 57.75 seconds on Geodzanot. Abdullah Saleh al-Obaidly secured third place in 57.72 seconds on Mani. In the Future Riders Level 1, Fahad bin Nasser al-Thani took first place with the best time of 58.03 seconds on Coco Chanel. He was followed by Nasser bin Hamad al-Thani in second place, clocking 57.91 seconds on Sita. Jassim Saud al-Fakhroo took third place in 58.15 seconds on Cascade. Omar al-Buainain, Director of Support Services at the Qatar Equestrian Federation, presented the trophies to the winners.
