Qatar Chamber’s second vice-chairman, Rashid bin Hamad al-Athba, presided over the chamber’s delegation at the 65th meeting of the Federation of Gulf Co-operation Council Chambers (FGCCC) in Jordan.
Taking place for the first time outside the GCC, the meeting coincided with the first GCC-Jordan Economic Forum, which was organised by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) and the FGCCC.

The event was presided over by Faisal al-Rawas, president of the Federation of Gulf Chambers with the attendance of Saleh bin Hamad al-Sharqi, the secretary-general.
Discussions touched on several key issues related to strengthening GCC economic co-operation, promoting co-operation among the Gulf private sector, enhancing the GCC intra-trade and economic integrity, and expanding mutual investments.
The meeting’s agenda included the approval of the minutes of the previous meeting, a follow-up on the recommendations from the 58th meeting of the executive leadership committee, and the annual estimated budget for the year 2025.
