French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday welcomed the United States' decision allowing Ukraine to fire US-supplied long-range missiles into Russia.
"It was a decision that was a totally good one," Macron said in Brazil, on the sidelines of a G20 summit, according to (AFP).
US media reports said that President Joe Biden had authorized Kyiv to conduct strikes using long-range missiles inside Russian territory. In response, Moscow said that the decision effectively constitutes direct involvement by the United States in the conflict.
