HEC Paris in Qatar, has launched the bilingual edition of ‘Qatar’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem: The Founder’s Guidebook'. The publication serves as a comprehensive resource for entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers navigating Qatar’s rapidly evolving business landscape, a statement said Sunday.
The guidebook, authored by Dr Allan Villegas-Mateos, senior research fellow and entrepreneur in residence at HEC Paris in Qatar, is the result of over three years of extensive research and offers insights and strategies for all stages of the entrepreneurial journey, from ideation and startup processes to scaling and securing funding.
“This guidebook is the product of a collaborative effort across Qatar’s entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said the author. “Our mission is to simplify access to key resources and provide entrepreneurs with a clear roadmap to success, empowering them to contribute to Qatar’s economic diversification.”
The launch event, hosted at Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Multaqa Student Centre in Education City, featured a panel discussion titled ‘The Future of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.’ In his opening remarks Pablo Martin de Holan, dean, HEC Paris in Qatar delivered opening remarks, reaffirmed the business school’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
“The guidebook is a result of extensive research and collaboration with QF partner universities in the context of multiversity and key stakeholders across Qatar’s entrepreneurial ecosystem," he added.
The event also featured the presentation of the latest Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students' Survey report, a collaboration between QF’s partner universities and Qatar University, providing key insights into the entrepreneurial education landscape and highlights emerging talent among young entrepreneurs.
